Breskens is the maritime seaside resort par excellence! That is not so difficult with its own fishing port and modern marina with 850 berths. The arrival and departure of the huge ocean-going vessels on the Westerschelde ensure that a day at the beach here is never boring. Wherever you cross the dune, you always quickly reach the wide sandy beach where a spacious spot for sunbathing awaits you. In addition, you can enjoy the many sailing yachts setting sail from or to the marina. From the beach, walk straight into the center where you will find numerous terraces and eateries. At the ferry starts the 'Loopplijn'. An attractive route with a maritime character and playful elements that connects the marina, the fishing port and the center. You encounter all the good things of the fishing village: the fishing port and marina, fish restaurants and cozy terraces, stores and boutiques, the Fisheries Museum and at the end, near the beach, the viewpoint with a panoramic view of the Westerschelde and the village. At the port you will find a maritime deck with playful elements. Here the kids have a great time on and around the giant sardine can. There are two large supermarkets in Breskens. Thanks to a network of bike paths and signposted routes, you can discover hidden creeks, beautiful polder dikes, proud farms and surprising small villages by bike or on foot. Cycling along the coast you can reach the fashionable seaside resort of Knokke in an hour. Or take the ferry to Vlissingen and the beautiful old town of Middelburg. From Breskens you can also take the bus to Bruges (40km). Even a day trip to Ghent or Antwerp is definitely recommended.

It was a clean apartment with nice view. We enjoyed our stay very much. Small details I personally would have liked that would make my rating even higher: Having basics like salt and pepper, cooking oil and some coffee or tea to use would have been nice. The basics like cleanliness, condition of the apartment, comfortable fat boy, TV, beautiful view were super.

We had a wonderful stay, the apartment is very spacious, full of light and well equipped. We enjoyed the view and the outdoor space. Parking was at the front of the building which was very convenient. It would have been nice to walk to a store/amenities, but the apartment is a little too far from downtown to walk with a child. Still, we had a great time and would return. The open living space is really nice!

The check-in was easy and uncomplicated. The view from the apartment was just a dream. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. There is even a washing machine and clothes horse. Parking in front of the house is available. Supermarkets and restaurants are within easy reach. Would go there again at any time.

Very nice, quiet and cozy environment in Breskens. It is definitely worth it if you want to unwind, with the beautiful view from the apartment this is certainly possible! It is within walking distance from the center of Breskens where there are very many and cozy restaurants. The accommodation was very clean and completely corresponded to the description in the ad. So this apartment is highly recommended, we enjoyed it!
The flat is as beautiful as the pictures show. The view is unsurpassed, so close to the water you can see ships and seals and a beautiful sunrise you can watch right from your bed. We felt very comfortable and it was definitely not the last time we stayed here.

A nice apartment with a very nice view of the sandbanks or possibly the sea. Price/performance is ok but not cheap. Lots of nice and relaxed people in the area. There are plenty of restaurants and the service was always good.
We were absolutely delighted and will definitely return. The flat is very clean, beautiful, spacious, modern and well equipped. Everything works and is in good condition. What we liked best was the great view of the North Sea. A highlight for us was watching the seals on the sandbanks opposite with the telescope provided. The location was also perfect for us. But we also love walking. It takes a good 15 minutes to get into town and to the nearest supermarket. But a nice walk along the harbor and you are quickly in town and also on the beach. Breskens has a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Everything was perfect for us. We even extended our stay by two days. Which succeeded without any problems. Thanks and see you soon! :)
