In quiet Aagtekerke, since February 2023, there is a new luxurious and spacious vacation home. The house is located in the countryside. On almost 2 ha stands the owners' house and the new summer house. On the land are over a hundred fruit trees, blackberries, raspberries and stitch own plants that fit into the Zeeland cultural landscape. There is also a pool dug into which rainwater runs with which we water the garden and greenhouses. There are also 10 chickens roaming the yard. We are by nature rather enterprising people who are always busy. The house is tidy, but we still have a lot of plans. Therefore, in our yard there is always something going on. Sort of like Aagje from Annie MG Schmidt's Pluk van de Petteflat. The house is built with solid roof tiles, maximally insulated, equipped with underfloor heating. The house has become almost energy neutral. We built the house ourselves. We prefer to use used materials The floor on the first floor is made from an old gym floor from Middelburg. The lines are still on it. The furnishings we also managed to get beautiful treasures from everywhere and nowhere over the last few years that show off in the house. The paving of the terrace are recycled (shark's tooth) tiles. So everything has a story. Still, we managed to make the house a solid and cozy place. Since we have collected many more tables and chairs and still really like it, it is possible, for example, to take over the table from us after the vacations. So we can keep looking for housewares and the house has different furnishings every time.
If you want, you'll come here and relax completely, but you don't have to. There is much to do and discover in the area. You can seek the hustle and bustle of the city or the coast with the beach or the tranquility of the forest or countryside near the beautiful vacation home.

The cottage is very nice and lacks nothing! It is cozy and the small fenced garden is also very nice! It is not far to Domburg, Oostkapelle or Middelburg. The owner is so friendly and helpful! The fence was spontaneously made escape-proof for our puppy! Small attentions or gifts are not obvious either...thank you so much for that!

The house is new and modern. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired. We immediately felt very comfortable. Check-in was very easy and the warm welcome by the landlords was extremely friendly. There were no problems during our stay. We were very satisfied. Checking out according to the instructions did not cause any problem either. Conclusion: happy to return again.
